How Spick and Span You Keep Your Environment?

Very well, another post of mine is before you. 

Today, I'm going to put up an article on 'IMPORTANCE OF CLEAN SURROUNDINGS'.

What happens when you see junk everywhere? I'm sure you don't like to see your horrible surroundings filled with heaps of garbage and flies hovering above them.

Well, the actual fact is that people keep their homes neat and clean but public places are full of filth. In this era, wherever you go in India, either to see about the Indian heritage or to rejuvenate yourselves in the lap of nature by going to famous picnic spots of India, all that you'll find is plastic bags lying everywhere which makes the scenery unpleasant. But in actual, there are many harmful consequences of garbage and filth in public places as when the flies sit on them, this garbage sticks on their feet. When these flies sit on any food item, that food gets contaminated because of the dirty feet of flies on the food. When this food is taken in, the person will suffer from food poisoning and as a result, many diseases like: cholera, dengue, malaria, etc. start spreading. So, we should promote cleanliness and be responsible about throwing trash in right bins and not on roads or public places. Public awareness campaigns should also be raised as ''TOGETHER WE CAN AND WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.''

Knowing all this, let's spread the message for keeping surroundings clean through taking part actively in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan started by our honourable Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Damodardas Modi andv keep our environment spick and span because 
'' CLEAN AND GREEN SHOULD BE EVERYONE'S PERFECT DREAM. ''

Trees- Our Lifeline

Hey there everybody!
Today's topic of my post is clearly written in the title above. 
Very well, today I am going to provide an essay on the topic 'VALUE OF TREES' 🌲🌳
So, here it is.

''Trees are the kindest things I know, 

They do no harm but simply grow.

They spread a shade for sleepy cows,

And gather the birds in their bows.''

It is rightly said that, '' Trees are our lifeline.'' We are dependent upon trees. Trees give us life-saving oxygen which is very essential for our survival. They provide us shade and shelter. Trees are the ornaments that our Mother Earth wears. They hold the soil firmly and prevent soil erosion. Trees play a vital role in our life. They provide us wood for furniture, medicines, fruits, vegetables, etc.
Trees are the green gold. Many occasions and festivals are celebrated all over the world in order to protect trees which are regarded as the best friends of a man. Sundarlal Bahuguna, a Garhwali environmentalist started a very famous movement in India i.e. Chipko Movement in 1973. Van Mohatsav was started in 1950 by Dr. K. M. Munshi, the then Union Minister for Agriculture and Food. 
Wangari Maathai, the first environmentalist to receive Noble Prize, who planted thirty million trees said, '' Every citizen does some little thing. My little thing is planting trees.''
Trees also purify air by giving out oxygen and taking in carbondioxide. They prevent global warming, floods, droughts, etc. and bring rain. 
Trees enhance the scenic beauty of Earth. They also prevent blistering hot sunshine. 
Ruskin Bond, a very popular author rightly said, '' Blessed is he upon whose house walls, the shade of an old tree falls.'' 
But these days, the human beings are becoming very ruthless and brutal for the purpose of getting wood for their daily necessities like: wood for furniture, paper, pencils, etc. without realizing that this would cause a lot of hurdles such as: natural calamities, deforestation, etc.
So, we should stop it and start planting more trees for healthy surroundings. We should stop deforestation and adopt the policy of afforestation.
